Coronavirus is the current top of mind conversation as the world awakens to its impact.

The truth is, when negative things are going on in the world, there is always the silent unspoken, “it’s happening in that country or continent and we (my friends and fam) are fine and shouldn’t care”. It’s human nature to not pay attention because whatever it is, isn’t disrupting your life.Β

This has been the case for the last few weeks until subtle precautionary shifts have started to take place because of COVID 19. Like when the mayor announced 2 nights ago that schools in Georgia are out for 2 weeks or the reality that my vacation to Cuba next week might not be happening

Does that make you wonder….what is REALLY happening?

The impact is now a reality as COVID-19 is a pandemic that’s beyond our control. What do we do? We take necessary precautions as advised below by the CDC (Center for Disease Control)

  1. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.
  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  3. Stay home when you are sick.
  4. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

After doing your part, stay positive, pray, believe and trust that everything will be ok. Panicking and stressing doesn’t change the situation, and creates hell for you.

To anyone whose friends and family have been impacted. We stand with you in prayer and send love, light and positive vibes your way?

In the meantime, let’s remember that it’s not about what is happening, but how we react or respond. Step away from social media, TV if you must because fear, anxiety, cowering breeds more of the same and may mentally and emotionally paralyze you.

Yes, it’s getting out of control but guess what? You’re alive, you’re here and healthy today…be present to that. Hang tight, stay positive, reassure yourself, loved ones and most importantly BELIEVE that all will be well?

Share below “I will stay positive” if you’re down for fighting back with positivity instead of fear and help others do the same. All will be well πŸ™‚
